CHES Exam Information for UMF Students

Passing the CHES exam signifies that an individual can demonstrate skill with and knowledge of the seven areas of responsibility for health educators as defined by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.

The CHES exam will be offered on April 21, 2007 and Oct. 20, 2007 at the Center for Human Development.

National Commission for Health Education Credentialing website (http://www.nchec.org/) to register for the exam. Additional information on test preparation, test content and fees, and qualifications for taking the CHES exam can also be found on the NCHEC website.
