Twitter is a great way to keep up to date with your friends, family, favorite artists, TV show hosts and best of all The Center for Human Development at the University of Maine at Farmington. It allows you to stay in contact by receiving 140 character (maximum) messages or statements about what's going on in day to day life. When you post a message it is posted to your profile or home page, and to the profile of those who are "following" you on Twitter. When "following" someone on Twitter it means that their "Tweets" are posted to your home pages.
